LA JOLLA - Will you spot a dolphin? A sailboat? Maybe a blue whale! This sunny San Diego hike weaves along sandstone cliffs above the Pacific Ocean. First you’ll hike out to two viewpoints with benches. If you look down, you will see canyons with wind caves and if you look up you can see seagulls and airplanes. After a walk (or drive) down a small hill, the next trail takes you for a loop out through a coastal pine forest, wildflowers, and cacti. The views are stunning! (May 2022)
