FALLBROOK - How about taking a break from hiking to play along the shore of a lush river? This hike has a section that is more challenging than our other hikes, BUT it will lead you into a magical green wonderland. After hiking under an oak canopy, you will need to hold an adult’s hand as you scramble down boulders to a creek and then back up to a narrow trail along a hillside. Then the trail peacefully winds above a river. The widest river crossing is where we turn around. If you are very careful, you can play in the water here. - July 2022
