POWAY - Burrow—I mean hike!—under tree tunnels. You’ll begin by walking down an old road. Then you’ll turn under shady oak trees to follow a tree tunnel along a creek. Look for baby trees and acorns in a oak grove. Then follow the path as it winds along the creek. When you reach the road, look left and check your wingspan before heading home. As you walk, look down. What can you find growing and living in the crunchy leaves? (December 2021)
