HUNTINGTON BEACH - Look up and look down! This salt marsh trail is filled with birds! First, you’ll cross a bay on a long wooden bridge. If you’re lucky, you’ll see terns, herons, and egrets fishing. The terns are super cool--they hover and then dive for fish! Continue around the bay on a raised trail with views of mudflats. Look back at the bay from an overlook then decide to head back along the trail next to the road or just turn around. Keep your eyes on the water for leaping mullet fish!
