SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO - Will there be water in the creek? Prepare to wind through a canyon and watch the trees change as you hike. Birds, butterflies, and bees zip in and out of the bushes as you head to an oak grove. You’ll turn to walk near some majestic Western sycamores before coming to a creek crossing. The creekbed is mostly dry, but if you hike after a rainfall you may need to carefully cross or turn back. This trail is shared with horses, remember to move out of their way and stand still as they pass.
